The St. Paul Park Refinery was originally built in 1939. We are located along the Mississippi River southeast of St. Paul Park, Minnesota, and have a crude oil refining capacity of 104,000 barrels per calendar day (bpcd). We manufacture gasoline, distillates, asphalt, heavy fuel oil, propane and refinery-grade propylene. Products are delivered from the refinery by truck, rail and barge.

The ENERGY STAR certification recognizes the top quartile of similar plants based on their energy efficiency. To be eligible, a facility must also have excellent overall environmental compliance. This is St. Paul Park's third year receiving the certification, and MPC was named EPA's ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for the third year in a row!
